A Guardianship is the appointment of a person to make decisions for the care of a minor or an incapacitated adult or to manage the assets of the minor or incapacitated adult.
A Guardian may only be appointed by a Court after a hearing. Once appointed the Guardian remains under the supervision of the Court and must file regular reports with the Court.
